The Android heat it® works with Android smartphones that have a USB-C port. If your smartphone has a Micro-USB port, you will need this adapter to connect the heat it® to your smartphone.
Your Android smartphone has a USB-C port? Then you don't need this adapter. If you are unsure about which port your smartphone has, you can use the explanatory graphic below to help you.
You already have an adapter?
Then you should note that the adapter from another manufacturer must also be OTG-compatible. This is often not the case. Our adapter supports the OTG standard and is therefore suitable for the use of heat it®. Adapters for charging the smartphone are usually not OTG-capable.
What does OTG mean?
OTG stands for On-The-Go and is a standard for connecting external devices to the smartphone. Only if the smartphone and adapter are OTG-capable, a connection can be established with heat it®.
The "OTG" function has to be enabled manually on isolated smartphones from e.g. OnePlus, OPPO or VIVO (explanatory video).
